Doughnut Party

As the University of Groningen elections are coming up, we would like to raise awareness to all PhD students across the GSSE of some developments.
This year, the GSSE PhD Council has established the Doughnut Party, a party where the core value is to provide a voice to scholarship PhD students and improve the general welfare of students. The Doughnut Party takes its name from the Doughnut Economic policy of sustainable development. The aim is to provide a platform to represent scholarship PhD students’ ideas and general student well-being. The Doughnut Party strives to utilise the resources available within the University to ensure all stakeholders benefit from developed policies.
Where we need your help!
This upcoming election, we are looking to set up a list for the University Council, to ensure all the voices of the
scholarship students throughout the university are heard. We are looking for scholarship PhD students who
want to raise their voice and work towards improving the representation.
